Atheists unveil £130,000 bus poster campaign
06 January 2009

Campaign

Created by the British Humanist Association, the campaign is a reaction to Christian bus ads run last year by Jesusaid.org that quoted passages from the Bible.

The activity, which runs across CBS Outdoor bus and tube sites, has been funded by public donations of £130,000, sufficient funds to back a four-week burst of activity.

Four creative executions feature quotations from renowned atheists including Albert Einstein and Katharine Hepburn.

Emily Dickinson's famous line "That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet" features on one of the posters.
